The Lakes Country Club

The Lakes Country Club is a private gated club situated on 380 acres in the heart of Palm Desert, CA. Built in 1983, a magnificent 50,000 square foot clubhouse including a Grill Room, fully equipped Pro Shop and a main Dining Room and Lounge overlooking the majestic Santa Rosa Mountains is at the center. A defining characteristic of the club is “The Lakes lifestyle” and a significant sense of community is expressed through a busy, diverse, year round dining, social and recreational calendar. A 5,000 square foot Fitness Center and Spa were constructed in 1997 and expanded in 2001. There are 902 condominium homes, each with a unique golf course or lake view. All of the property and facilities are jointly owned and managed by the homeowners through The Lakes Country Club Association, Inc. Management is vested in a nine member Board of Directors elected by the homeowners. The Board oversees all operations, which are conducted by a highly professional staff under the direction of the General Manager. Each home is convenient to one or more of the many swimming pools and spas located throughout the property.

The Lakes security staff provides protection twenty-four hours a day controlling the entrance gate and regularly patrolling the community. Security cameras are located throughout the club and alarm systems in each home are monitored by security personnel.
